Choose life. (Deuteronomy 30:19)

Not for the first time, I awoke this morning unsure where I would be sleeping tonight.

Consequently, a moment later I was praying for God's will over it.

Consequently one minute after saying "Amen" the phone rang.

Consequently one hour later I talking to David, a Christian friend of a friend with a spare room.

Consequently 4 hours later I was meeting him at Starbucks in Botany for a white hot chocolate.

Consequently 4-and-a-half hours later we were carrying my gear into my new room at his place in Howick. It's slightly bigger, has 2 cupboards instead of one, has longer quilts (which with my height I love) and even contains a running machine and hand weights!

Consequently I gave thanks.

Consequently...?

I'm glad that worked out Steve. I had been praying for you in the situation and had made a few phone calls after reading about your accomodation predicament on your blog. I'm sure we would have been able to sort something out if nothing had come up..... silly of me to think nothing would come up though after seeing how God has come through every time during your journey over here.

Just reading your blog has been a lesson in faith. Thank you for sharing your story on the internet ;o)

Thanks Frank - it's so good to have others' support - exactly what church is about.

Lately I've got into speaking out loud that God will come through each time. It's a good way of battling my own personal pessimism and cynicism, which God is gradually helping me to get rid of.

Krusty,

Did I mention that Botany shopping centre is located on the surface of the sun?
